Mike, Val and I are both honored and grateful to have known you. When we moved next door to your dad and Carol in May, 1996, we knew God lead us there and that we were in exactly the place we were meant to be. If we hadn't moved there, we never would have met you and your family, and we never would have shared those great apple martini moments! Your life was an inspiration to us all. Thank you for sharing your time, your family, and yourself with us. We will not forget you.

Mike, In our line of work we make friends and we lose friends. It's something that we understand and have to deal with. however, losing you was something that I never expected. We spend long hours in that patrol car, laughing and running a muck. We did our job and yet managed to keep our sanity. You were a loving husband, father, son and friend. The world has suffered a great loss with your passing, heaven has gained a great soul. Rest in peace my friend. Wear your wings with as much pride as you wore your badge. Your friend, Adrian

I am here to honor my son Michael. I am very proud to be Michael’s Father. He not only was an incredible Son, but he was also an incredible Husband, and Father and Brother. He built sincere lasting friendships with so many people in this chapel today. Michael’s accomplishments included receiving a Doctorate in Chiropractics. Completing the Sheriffs academy and becoming a Reserve Officer in the San Fernando Police Department. He was so proud to be a San Fernando Police Officer. He was very passionate in everything he did. I watched him grow into manhood with a strong sense of ethics and character. He was a sensitive, thoughtful, and a kind person. He filled our lives with his being. Michael was my hero. Our families and everyone he touched will miss him.
